Album Cover Design


Hi readers, for my album cover I decided to use collage. Collage is an effective choice for an album cover when the video focuses on teenage friendship, as it visually reflects the layered and emotional nature of teen experiences. The mixed media approach can represent shared memories, inside jokes, and personal moments, much like a scrapbook or mood board. This style feels authentic and nostalgic, helping to convey the energy, messiness, and intimacy of teenage relationships in a visually engaging way.


Each and every picture I've chosen in this collage shows the essence of my friendship and the relationships I've build over years. As mentioned above, the collage also represents out closeness with each other. I wanted to show how connecting with people and friendship in your teenage years creates a bond like no other. I personally feel this shows my theme really well, which remembering my friends and nostalgia, which a-lot of people feel as slowly in reality you drift away from a lot of these friendships and get busy in our own lives. As my audience connects with the 'artist' this also shows my research on album covers. 

 I wanted to show the importance of memories that is created overtime with love and happiness, which leads to making these relations stronger and unforgettable. Each photo that I've chosen represents the memories that I truly cherish and I am fond of, the times I have cherished a lot throughout these years. I think this combination helps me achieve the idea and theme I'm trying to show. 



Here's a close up of all the pictures I've chosen. The repetition shows how certain moments or feelings come up again and again in a close relationship. It could be the same place, a shared object, or similar photos that keep appearing—just like how friends often create the same kinds of memories together. It reflects the comfort, trust, and connection that builds over time, and how friendships can shape who we are. Repeating things in the collage makes it feel personal and emotional, like a visual reminder of everything that’s been shared.

Music Video Analysis

  Hi readers!! I decided to analyse 'Formation' by Beyonce, as I think she really did a great job on this music video. "Formation" is a visual manifesto that challenges racial injustice, honours Black culture, and reimagines the political possibilities of pop music. It is more than simply a music video. It's an outstanding illustration of how artists may utilise media to subvert prevailing narratives and inspire significant change.  She faced love because of this video, as she addressed a very sensitive issue. Critical Reflection

Hi readers, this is my personal reflection on my project.. The project I have created represents the epitome of my identity and is a product of pure imaginative instinct paired with depth in research. Every detail of every outcome is infused with my deep-rooted feelings about friendship, separation, and nostalgia, serving as a heartfelt response to the experience of missing my best friends in my home country after moving away. Built around Puff Daddy’s “I’ll Be Missing You,” the music video allowed me to express emotions that are often difficult to put into words, starting from the symbolic opening of a passport and boarding pass, transitioning into a plane window, and then fading into a montage of memories shared with my friends, ending once more with the aircraft window to show that the entire journey was filled with reflection.
